The Small Cause Big Effects Foundationis a platform to educate, motivate and provide information for sustainable behavior and cleantech solutions, acting as a relay of information between governmental and non-governmental institutions, decision-makers, green technology providers and the public at large.
The Small Cause Big Effects Foundation is based in Fribourg, Switzerland, and is an independent, non-for-profit foundation created in 2010. It is officially recognized as a foundation of public utility by the Swiss government.
By extending its UNESCO-award winning interactive exhibition "L'Oracle du Papillon" into "Villages of Sustainability", the foundation seeks to become a leading and inspiring force in the field of environmental awareness, as well as a key provider of engaging and original solutions, tools and installations to inspire people.
The foundation has attained extraordinary results in matters of motivating people to move towards energy efficient consumption and sustainable behavior.
Capturing by emotion and educating by interaction is our way of inspiring the population into action and responsibility. The Villages of Sustainability have been imagined with the goal of making sustainability an exciting and rewarding experience:
